Writer/director Anthony Lucero is an Oakland native who graduated from the Film Department at San Francisco State University.
He worked as a commercial editor for several years with clients including Nike and Yahoo. He moved into the visual effects world working at the Tippett Studio and Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light and Magic on films like Star Wars – Episode II, Pirates of the Caribbean, Iron Man, Hunger Games and The Twilight Saga. He has recently worked on behind-the-scenes documentaries for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII .
Keeping a balance between his more commercial work and projects with social commentary and a focus on community, Lucero has worked as a cameraman and editor on independent and PBS documentaries.
Additionally he has written and directed several short films and we are pleased to present a selection.
